Privacy Policy

HeldSpace is a product of Homeheld Technologies LLC, a Michigan-based company. Our platform provides senior move management software for professional moving companies, their crew members, and the families they serve.

When we say "HeldSpace," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we are referring to Homeheld Technologies LLC and the HeldSpace platform at heldspace.net.

We collect information in three ways — information you give us directly, information created when you use HeldSpace, and information from payment processors.

• Account information — company name, your name, and email address when you create a HeldSpace account.
• Job information — client names, move dates, property addresses, and notes you enter when creating jobs.
• Crew information — crew member names, phone numbers, and driver's license numbers you register for identity verification.
• Item documentation — photos, condition notes, and family decisions recorded during moves.
• Family portal data — decisions and notes made by family members on the family portal.
• Digital signatures — names, email addresses, IP addresses, and timestamps recorded when documents are signed.
• Payment information — billing details handled securely by Stripe. HeldSpace never stores your credit card number.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform.

We use the information we collect to provide, improve, and protect the HeldSpace platform.

• To create and manage your account and company profile
• To enable crew members to document items and families to view and make decisions
• To generate Memory Brochures and send them to families after moves
• To process digital document signatures and maintain audit trails
• To send transactional emails — login links, brochure delivery, thank you emails, review requests
• To process subscription payments through Stripe
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• To improve the platform based on how it is used

Photos captured during moves are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 object storage. They are accessible only through authenticated HeldSpace links — they are not publicly indexed or searchable.

Memory Brochures are generated and delivered to family members via secure links. These links are tied to a unique access token per job and are not shared publicly.

Digital signatures are stored with a SHA-256 audit hash, the signer's name, email, IP address, and timestamp. This creates a legally valid record of the signing event.

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your billing information.
• Cloudflare — for hosting, storage, and delivery of the platform and photos.
• Resend — for transactional email delivery (login links, brochures, thank you emails).
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights of HeldSpace or its users.

We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for 30 days, after which it is scheduled for deletion.

Job records, photos, and Memory Brochures are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of specific job records at any time by contacting us.

Digital signature records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to satisfy legal and compliance requirements.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You may also request a copy of all data we hold about you or your company.

If you are located in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are located in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact us to exercise these rights.

HeldSpace uses industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos and documents are stored in Cloudflare R2 with access controlled by signed URLs. Passwords are not stored — we use a passwordless magic link system.

No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@homeheldmove.com.

HeldSpace is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers by email. Your continued use of HeldSpace after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
